On October 18th, 2010 the Streets of Gold tour made a stop in Charlotte, NC at Amos' Southend. The tour featured The Secret Handshake, Down With Webster, Hello Goodbye, and the headliners 3OH!3. The first band of the night was The Secret Handshake. They took the stage and opened their set with a new style of music, as displayed on the album that was released in August of this year. The performance was very upbeat and energetic and it had a Motown/60's feel to the it. Luis Dubac kept the energy high through the whole set with the help of his "handshakes" as he introduced them, which included a new member, a woman singing backup vocals, since the last time I saw them in Raleigh.

After The Secret Handshake was finished, the next act of the night was Down With Webster who offered a much different live show than the previous band. Down With Webster also has a very energetic show that gets the crowd pumped up, but they also incorporate a Hip Hop oriented sound. They had the setup of a full band, as well as a DJ backing up the music. They threw red solo cups into the crowd, which everyone roared in applause for. They definitely created an incredible live show that grabs the attention of old fans as well as people who have never heard any of their songs before.

Next up was Hellogoodbye, who played a mix of new songs off a record dropping on November 9th as well as songs off of their old album. The crowd favorites from their set seemed to be when they played songs off the old album such as 'Here In Your Arms' and 'Dear Jamie.'

Last on the lineup for the night were the headliners, 3OH!3. They came out to a crowd who was waiting in anticipation for them. The whole set was filled with energy (just like the rest of the night) and they played a majority of songs off their newly released record 'Streets of Gold.' The set ended and the crowd started chanting THREE...OH...THREE...OH...THREE and they came out for a 3- song encore. They ended the set with their hit 'Don't Trust Me.' Overall, the Streets of Gold tour kept a very high energy pace throughout the entire night and kept the fans upbeat and energized from beginning to end. The stars of the night were 3OH!3, a band that never fails to disappoint on and off the stage.
