The first time I had the pleasure of seeing Saosin perform live was back
in 2007 on the Taste of Chaos tour. It was clear to me then that they were an inspiration to their fans. After listening to
their latest CD, I can understand now what that's all about. For me, this is their best work to date without question. Fresh
off this summer's Vans Warped Tour, Saosin is surely on track to add to their already enormous fan base.
I spoke with
guitarist Chris Sorensen recently about the new record and what lies ahead for the band in 2009 and beyond.
