Review by Anthony Avina

The first year in a new decade seems to be bringing forth a whole slew of new albums from fan favorites. From the Foo Fighters to rock gods like Rush, 2011 is shaping up to bring a great array of new music for the rock genre. Along with these new albums come frontrunners Adelitas Way. With the upcoming release of their second full length album, 'Home School Valedictorian,' these veteran artists prove that they have what it takes to make a long-lasting career in this industry.  Full of angst, fire, and kick-ass rock and roll sound that pours out of the speakers as soon as the album begins, 'Home School Valedictorian' is a tribute to the current rock genre that brings to mind such bands as Three Days Grace, Skillet, and Drowning Pool.

Featuring the hit single 'Sick,' the band’s latest album showcases their wide vocal range, haunting guitar work, and powerful ability to convey a message in every song.   Besides the single, 'Sick,' fans should listen for such in your face songs as 'Criticize,' as well as soulful and emotional songs as I Can Tell,' which gives fans a peek at the true depth that Adelitas Way has to offer their fans.

'Home School Valedictorian' is a must have for any rock fan to have. We here at Rock on Request have enjoyed listening to these badass guys from Vegas for the past couple of years, and we cannot wait to see what the future holds for these talented musicians. Go pick up your copy of 'Home School Valedictorian' on June 7th, 2011.
