Take A Trip Down The Rabbit Hole with Egypt Central's 'White Rabbit'

Review by Anthony Avina

One of the things we like to see here at Rock On Request is the hard work of a band who has worked their asses off to make a name for themselves finally pay off. This is the case with alternative rock band, Egypt Central. After years of generating a buzz for themselves in their hometown of Memphis, TN, this amazing band finally got the attention they deserved.  Three years later, the band is celebrating their success with the release of their second album, 'White Rabbit.'

Featuring John Falls on vocals, Jeff James on lead guitar, Joey Chicago on bass guitar, and Blake Allison on drums, percussion, Egypt Central has a unique sound that blends alternative and metal, with heavy rock sound. With vocals that bring to mind Saving Abel and a sound that is truly their own, 'White Rabbit' showcases such songs as 'Ghost Town,' 'Goodnight,' and their hit single, 'White Rabbit.'

The future is looking bright for these relative newcomers to the rock genre. While they showcase the experience they have earned on the road and in their first album, this latest offering also takes us through a story; a story of dealing with the consequences of your actions.  This is something everyone can relate to, and the scenes are laid out against the backdrop of some heavy, melodic tones and scorching hot guitar riffs.  'White Rabbit' is a must have for any and all rock fans out there.  Pick it up on May 31st, and be sure to keep your eyes peeled for the music video for 'White Rabbit' to be released soon.
