Burn Halo's 'Up From The Ashes' Is As Pure As Rock Gets

Review by Anthony Avina

Are you sitting down? No?  Then you better sit down for this, because in the midst of this summer’s beginning months, and the hundreds of new songs and albums, one of the most badass bands in recent years has come out with their latest album, 'Up From the Ashes.' That band, ladies and gentlemen, is Burn Halo. That’s right; those heavy-duty rockers from Tulsa, OK are back with a vengeance, spewing forth a new crop of in your face rock art.

With James Hart on vocals, Joey Roxx on guitar, Brandon Lynn on guitar, Aaron Boehler on bass, and Dillon Ray on drums, Burn Halo is showcasing their unique blend of theatrics, drama, intense and gritty rock and blood pumping vocals. With a blend of sounds that brings to mind
Avenged SevenfoldMy Chemical Romance and Rise Against, 'Up From the Ashes' features such songs as 'Stranded,' 'Give Me a Sign' and their debut single, 'Tear it Down,' all of which showcase the bands' amazing ability to put on a star-studded performance without ever even taking the stage.

With a kick-ass summer looming in front of us, there is no better album to have pumping out of the stereo speakers in your car than Burn Halo’s 'Up From the Ashes.'  It will have you jumping out of your seat, and rocking every single second of every song.  If James Hart's Axl Rose-like growls doesn't give you the chills, then you better check your speakers and/or hearing.  Combine it with the searing guitar licks this album has to offer, and you won't find a better reason to check this record out.  Go pick up your copy on June 28th, 2011!
