HELLOGOODBYE's Would It Kill You Covers A Lot of Ground

Review by Aly Avina

Hellogoodbye is an indie-power pop band based out of Huntington Beach, California.  They’ve been a band for nine years now and they’ve managed to keep their fun, California boy vibe in their latest tunes.  This whole album seems to bring you through each stage of a relationship - from beginning to end, through the good and the bad.  It takes you from when you’re so hopelessly in love that everyone around you feels sick with your baby talk, to the point when your love leaves and your left feeling well, hopelessly lost.  They even cover the points in between when all is not perfect in the world but all is not lost either.

The great thing about this album is all the poppy feel-good vibes that still emanate from all the songs despite the sometimes sad, lyrical matter. Listen to this album when you want to dance, when you want to feel relaxed, when you’re incredibly in love, and when you’ve just gone through a bad break up.  Plain and simple, listen to this album in any mood, and you’ll be glad you did.  Go pick up a copy today!
