In a world dominated by teen pop stars and computer-generated voices, finding a truly unique band is a rare thing. Luckily, a rare thing has happened, and we here at Rock on Request have been given the opportunity to listen to a truly unique artist and a great band. Mike Ferraro & The Young Republicans is a powerhouse indie rock group hailing from Hoboken, NJ with a true sense of uniqueness and artistic musical talent. With the recent release of their debut album, What’s Yours is Mine, this band is sure to make a splash on the music scene.

Featuring Mike Ferraro on Guitar/Lead Vocals, Jonathan Andrew on Bass/Backing Vocals, and Ralph Capasso – Drums/Backing Vocals, this up and coming indie band began as a young man’s dream of artistic glory in Hoboken. Mike Ferraro, who grew up listening to the likes of Nirvana and The Beatles, wanted nothing more than to create truly unique music that he could bring to fans and that showcased the sounds of his generation. After meeting up with Jonathan and Ralph, the trio worked hard and pooled their collective talent into their debut album, and it is a truly unique album at that.

With such songs as “To Greet You With a Smile”, “Jumper”, and “Never Grow Old”, the debut album of Mike Ferraro and The Young Republicans is sure to be a smash hit. Full of soft, melodic vocals, sweet, harmonizing beats, and lyrics that can make you laugh, think, and bring fourth truly interesting stories, we here at Rock on Request look forward to watching this talented group rise through the ranks and become the next great rock band of our generation.
