Review by Anthony Avina

What is the mark of a true musical artist? Is it when a million copies sell of a single album? Or when a band is featured on a major magazine cover? No, the mark of a true artist is their ability to use their natural talent on multiple levels of artistic vision. This is how we have come to view one of our favorite bands, Pan.a.ce.a. While we simply love the intense vocals and heavy hitting music they produce, they have once again pleasantly surprised us with their originality with the release of their acoustic, hit album, 'Bare Bones.'

Anyone who has followed the magazine has also been able to follow this amazing bands' progress over the years. Hailing from Pennsylvania, Pan.a.ce.a is a hard rock band that has never stopped its creative originality. Never having given in to mainstream music influence, the band has brought forth a new level of artistc direction, showing off their natural talents in an acoustic performance unlike anything I’ve heard before.

Featuring such hits as 'Don’t Walk Away,'  'I Never,'  and 'Hold On,' the band shows off why they are the creative force they have become. With gritty, amazing vocals, melodic yet intense music, and lyrics that paint a story in your head every time you listen to it, this album is a must have for the rocker in all of you. In an age when computers and technology has taken originality and true musical talent and made it unimportant in mass culture, it is a true gem to find a band with such great musical talent, and that is why we here at Rock on Request have and always will love Pan.a.ce.a, and we cannot wait to see what they have in store for us in the future.
